I don’t mention this stuff nor ever will, FOR A REASON. • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • First and foremost, I just want to state that my opinions and how I feel as a job are NOT associated in any shape or form with that company. These are my personal feelings and things I went through going through this job experience and are MINE (and mine ONLY) thoughts on the company and process itself. Hi guys, a lot has happened in July 2021. As many of you may have seen—flight attending has brought me to live homeless for a month. This was super unhealthy; 1. Bc I’m diabetic 2. Mental/emotional/physical health 3. SUPER unsafe 4. My air conditioning went out in my car. Did I want to quit? No, absolutely not. This was a heart wrenching decision, as I have worked SO HARD to get those wings. A lot of hard work, dedication, late nights and early mornings came to an abrupt END. However, my HEALTH came first. I came first. Because without taking care of myself, I was not capable of taking care of others. I was basically forced and pushed to this decision by the company as they could not help me get on my feet. Is the regional airline I was with worth it for me? 110% absolutely not. The pay was horrible, and living situations were scarce for new hires or flight attendants in general. With a company pushing 2400 new hire flight attendants through a post-pandemic training and sending them to the same basis, they are really setting the bars high for new hires to be in situations like this. This journey is not over for me yet, though. I have some awesome news and a new journey to share along with you guys in the upcoming months and I can’t WAIT to document it all and share it with you all!
