Have you ever shopped with your emotions? Not feeling pretty - celebrating a milestone - New Love? The reasons are endless.... Too many times, I've fallen into the pit of spending money on this and that or whatever would soothe my emotions. The problem is, our emotions are always changing -- and the urge to spend returns again and again. Its not an easy battle to win. I've defeated it many times through resistance, redirection and primarily, relying on prayers and devotion to get to the core of my 'wanting' -- I don't always do it this way. Sometimes, I feel out of control and I find reasons to spend and buy....only to leave the boxes unopened when they arrive. Sometimes feeling worse than I did before my packages arrive.
