Roland Gresham Sr. & Annie Sellick

When I worked with my first jazz trio, I had no idea how few guitarists play like Roland Gresham did - strumming and soloing with his thumb a-la Wes Montgomery, assuredly Roland's hero (he had several original instrumentals written in his honor and sung his praises often). Here we are on our locally treasured jazzman's birthday in 1999 at the Boro Bar and Grill in Murfreesboro, TN with Andy Evans on bass and Sam Baker on drums.
