From undeclared nannies to undocumented workers, in France, two and a half million people are estimated to be working off the books. This social security fraud is proving very costly: fifteen billion euros in lost revenue for the state. The crackdown is on to replenish the coffers. Police officers, magistrates, and labor inspectors: for these enforcers, it's zero tolerance. Among their hard-hitting methods is denunciation between employers. Because when faced with inspectors, fraudsters are becoming increasingly cunning in their attempts to pocket large sums of money at the expense of their employees.
