They Might Be Giants - 1985 Promotional Demo Tape #1

They Might Be Giants - 1985 Promotional Demo Tape #1 This demo tape was a part of a big series of promotional tapes distributed by They Might Be Giants throughout the mid-1980s. These tapes were mainly shared to club orders to get performance bookings for the band and contain various different demo tracks created by the band. This tape was archived at the Warhol Museum and discovered in 2001 by a curator. According to John Linnell, the tape could've been archived by one of the workers at the museum, although there's a possibility that it could have been archived by Andy Warhol himself. The tape contains five unique extra tracks, unintentionally left on the tape. These are all instrumentals that were most likely used during the band's live performances in the 1980s. — Ripped by Antgeth — TIMESTAMPS: 0:00 - (Put Your Hand Inside The) Puppet Head 2:03 - Youth Culture Killed My Dog 5:00 - Nothing's Going To Change My Clothes 7:07 - Boat Of Car (Rhythm Section Instrumental) [INCOMPLETE RECORDING] 7:34 - Alienation's For The Rich (Rhythm Section Instrumental) 10:04 - You'll Miss Me (Rhythm Section Instrumental) 11:57 - Nothing's Going To Change My Clothes (Rhythm Section Instrumental) 13:58 - The Famous Polka (Rhythm Section Instrumental)
