Neuer Glockenklöppel für zweitgrößte Glocke der Vilshofener Stadtpfarrkirche

The Rottaler Hammerwerk in Anzenkirchen has already crafted bell clappers for Notre Dame in Paris. Now, the traditional company has received a slightly smaller, but no less important, order in Vilshofen. A bell in the town's parish church needs a new clapper, which will be fitted by the Perner company from Passau before All Saints' Day. The bells are scheduled to ring again on the major church festival on November 1st. Watch a video here of the 100-kilogram bell clapper being made:
