Camping at Apache Lake! // Sights and Sounds of Burnt Corral Campground// Grilling Steak on the Lake

For my Fist camping trip in Arizona, I decided to make the drive out to Apache Lake in Roosevelt Arizona. The road to get here is a 5 mile slightly sketchy washboard road that starts near Roosevelt dam and offers scenic views all the way to the campground. This road gets narrow and bumpy in many sections and has no guard rail. Burnt Corral campground has over 70 campsites but I culd imagine this park stays very busy in spring and summer. I arrived on a monday in March and was lucky to get a site near the water as all the lakeside spots eventually filled up, even during the week. for more privacy and possibly less neighbors, I would consider getting a site further from the lake or trying one of the dispersed campsites. For this video, I took a different approach to sharing the camping experience. I tried to do less vlogging and narration, to allow the natural sounds and beauty of this campground to shine through. With that being said, feel free to ask me any questions about this adventure. I'd be glad to help For those wondering, Im using a Napier truckbed tent for camping, a little buddy propane heater for warmth, and my propane grill is a Weber q1200, which Ive been using non-stop for the last few months. Thanks for watching.
