This music group has released eight studio albums, nine religious albums and 18 compilation albums. Since 2003, Ungu consisted of Pasha (vocalist). Enda (guitar), Oncy (guitar), Makki (Bass), Rowman (drums). This Malay pop band from Jakarta began performing from stage to stage at art performances around the Tebet area in 1996. In 2000, Ungu received an offer to fill out a Klik compilation album with other music groups. Ungu's name skyrocketed through their hit singles, such as "Laguku", "Karena Dia Kamu", "Demi Waktu", "Berikan Aku Cintamu", "Kekasih Gelapku", "Cinta dalam Hati", "Tercipta Untukku", "Hampa Hatiku" , "Dia atau Diriku", "I Need You" and "Dirimu Satu". Ungu also gained popularity in Malaysia around 2006 when they released their single "Demi Waktu", followed by their third album Melayang (2006).
