Establishng Business Continuity Plans (Module 3A)

This module explains how an approved Business Impact Analysis is converted into an authorized, usable, BIA-linked Business Continuity Plan. The focus is plan establishment: what the BCP must contain, authorize, coordinate, and control before disruption occurs. The module covers BIA-to-BCP translation, the governance model of BCMS governs → BCP coordinates → specialist plans execute, clean BCP architecture, partial and full activation design, dependency ownership, the five-block BCP structure, asset-loss arrangements, minimum acceptable capacity, recovery sequencing, approval-readiness testing, and common plan-establishment mistakes. This module does not cover live command, situation reporting, real-time resource dispatch, workaround execution, recovery monitoring, return-to-normal execution, or post-incident handover.
