Free camping Coober Pedy & Uluru – driving into the red centre | Transit van | Australia vanlife

Hitting the Sturt Highway and covering more than 1400km in three days, finding out just how expensive fuel can get, but not paying for camps! (Free camps all listed on Wiki camps app which we thoroughly recommend.) That’s how we find ourselves getting lost on a walk in Coober Pedy, exploring an underground church (we don’t mean it’s hip; it’s literally under the ground!) and coming across a crashed space craft. Deeper into the red centre, we make our way to iconic, fantastic Uluru and jump on our nifty folding ebikes for a fun-filled ride around the rock. Full video review of our bikes coming soon!
