Can I Turn the World Cup Into a Table?

I built a World Cup inspired woodworking table with wood inlay for match day. In this woodworking project, I make a simple DIY table using Merbau plywood, pine plywood, and a handmade wood inlay design inspired by soccer and the World Cup season. This build started as a normal table idea, but I wanted to add something special to the top. So I designed a soccer inspired inlay pattern, cut each piece, carved the recess, and fitted the inlay into the tabletop. For the tabletop, I used Merbau plywood because of its warm color and grain. For the inlay, I used pine to create a strong contrast against the darker top. The base is also made with pine plywood, using simple joinery and angled legs. This was not a perfect build, but that is part of woodworking. Some pieces were too tight, some cuts needed extra trimming, and the inlay took more patience than I expected. But in the end, it became a handmade match day table with a story behind it. This is the kind of table I would love to use while watching a big match. What would you build for match day?
