FreeCAD Assembly Workbench - Getting Started
This is a basic tutorial on how to use the FreeCAD 1.0 Assembly Workbench. We cover how to create assemblies, use all the basic joints, and then put it together by creating the example assembly provided on the wiki and running an animation. I hope this helps you pick up the basics and get to making your own assemblies faster than I did, this is the first full length video I've uploaded so pardon the rough presentation. Chapters: 00:00 - Intro 00:27 - Creating Assemblies 02:27 - Fixed Joint 05:25 - Revolute, Slider, and Cylindrical Joints 06:43 - Distance and Angle Joints 09:12 - Ball Joint 09:40 - Joint Limits 10:26 - Full Assembly Example 12:10 - Animation and Final Tools
