The fishing village of Novigrad lies in the north of the Istria region and has approximately 4,500 inhabitants. Novigrad is a beautiful place that is not yet overrun by tourism. The ancient old town is situated on a peninsula that was only connected to the mainland in the 18th century. The old town is perfect for a leisurely stroll through its many small, winding streets and shops.
