End Game Demo: Live recording. Vocals/Lyrics: Anthony Stewart Head and piano/music: George Sarah.

I received the unfortunate news that Anthony Stewart Head passed. We wrote and recorded an album together called Music for Elevators. It was a 9-month writing and recording process that started as jam sessions at my home where we came up with roughly 20 song ideas and then refined what we believed to be something worth while to record. An independent label supported us, and we invited various guests to contribute to songs that were mostly written by the two of us with the exception of two covers and a piano concerto performed by Tony’s mother. I can’t say I have too many people in my corner, however, Tony was definitely one of them. He invited me to hang out during shoots (the food on set was amazing with plant based options,) I discovered this when I was asked to perform on Buffy prior to our collaboration, and after the release of our album, he joined me at my concerts to perform a few songs, and it was always a blast, bringing much humor and positive energy. We wrote a song about death called End Game. It was dedicated to one of his close friends who had passed after a long illness. My favorite line he wrote for the song is ‘Finite, sight unseen, we choose the path we walk.’ He called me dude because he thought everyone in Los Angeles referred to friends that way. Goodbye my friend, Rest In Peace., Dude.
