Kenny Anderson 50 Points vs Loyola Marymount (1990) Georgia Tech Scoring Record
December 22 1990 Kenny Anderson sets the Georgia Tech school record with 50 points against Loyola Marymount on an outstanding performance in a fast paced game. Kenny shot a spectacular 18 of 27 from the field and 6 of 8 from the collegiate 3 point line. He sure was the treat of NCAA college basketball during this time, perhaps the greatest point guard in NCAA history out of New York City. Kenny also had 7 assists in the showing as well. Disclaimer: This video shows 48 of the 50 points. The broadcast showed a replay of a Jon Barry reverse layup while Anderson scored a basket.
