How to Model a Pump House in AutoCAD Plant 3D | Pumps, Piping, Supports & Access

In this video I demonstrate how to model a pump house layout in AutoCAD Plant 3D. We create a containment pit, place three pumps, design suction and discharge manifolds, and add valves, strainers, instruments, and pipe supports. During the modeling process we also check important engineering aspects such as: pump nozzle stress proper manifold sizing pipe supports and accessibility maintenance platforms and stairs valve and instrument placement This type of 3D modeling helps engineers identify layout and maintenance issues early in the design stage, before construction begins.
