Lumbini Nepal - Buddha’s Birthplace

My journey into Buddhist monkhood commenced 40 years ago at the tender age of 13. Since then, I've devoted myself to serving humanity through my Buddhist temple and the social welfare organization I currently lead. These all steps I reached following Buddha’s teaching. As a Buddhist Monk I always follow up Vinaya and respect to the Buddha’s instructions. Today morning I visited Lumbini. Lumbini is the Buddha's birthplace, located at Rupandehi, Nepal, is one of the world's most important spiritual sites and attracts Buddhist pilgrims from around the world. Mayadevi Temple is the most sacred site in the Lumbini Garden where archaeologists have identified the exact spot where Lord Buddha was born. Inscriptions on the Ashoka Pillar nearby also refer to the spot as his birthplace. It is said that the newly born Prince Siddhartha (later became the Buddha) took his first seven steps and delivered his peace message to humanity here. #lumbini #mayadevi #nepal #chanting #pirith
