Slowing Down is Not Always Time Wasted

In this video I reflect on why sometimes it is important to just film and work on filming techniques. I shot quite a bit of footage during a recent visit to West Cork. I had no story idea in mind and just shot what interested me. As a filming and photographic location, West Cork has a bounty to offer. But nice footage from a nice location does not guarantee a story. So although I enjoyed the locations visited, I struggled with coming up with a narrative. But no harm - it is enough sometimes to just film and use the occasion to learn and improve. The stories will come in their own good time. Diarmuid
