I’m reacting to a WWII history video titled “When America Took Revenge,” which tells the intense true story of the mission to shoot down Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto, the mastermind behind Pearl Harbor. This was honestly one of the most overwhelming reaction videos I’ve ever done. Watching aerial combat up close, hearing the pilots’ perspectives, and realizing how young and human everyone involved was really hit me hard. The flying alone is terrifying, but the mental state these pilots must have been in is something I can’t stop thinking about. In this reaction, I share my honest thoughts, questions, and emotional response while watching this dramatic World War II reenactment. It’s fascinating, disturbing, impressive, and heartbreaking all at the same time.
