Come along with us on our family adventure to Monterey, California! 🌊 From sea otters to "s'mores" at the ranch, we had the best time exploring the Central Coast. If you're looking for the perfect kid-friendly Monterey itinerary, this is it! 📍 What We Did: Monterey Bay Aquarium: We got up close with playful sea otters, touched sea stars in the touch pools, and stood in awe of the giant Kelp Forest! This is definitely a must-see for kids of all ages. Point Lobos State Natural Reserve: We went on a "nature treasure hunt"! We hiked the Sea Lion Point Trail to see (and hear!) the barking sea lions and explored the tide pools at Weston Beach. 🦀 Carmel Valley Ranch (Hyatt): Our home away from home! The kids loved the huge "playground" vibe of this resort. We did: Beekeeping & Honey Tasting: Learning how bees make honey! 🐝 Nightly S'mores: Roasting marshmallows by the fire pits. The Creamery: Tasting fresh cheese made right on-site. ✨ Family Travel Tips for Monterey: Book the Aquarium Early: It gets busy, so grab your tickets online before you go! Layers are Life: Even in summer, the Monterey breeze can be chilly. Bring a hoodie! Point Lobos Parking: Arrive before 9:30 AM to get a spot inside the reserve, otherwise, it’s a long walk for little legs.
