LEJOG 1200 Miles Across Britain | Blocked Paths, Barbed Wire, No Campsites | Days 25-26

The LEJOG 1,200 mile end-to-end adventure across Britain continues as I leave Ironbridge and head towards Staffordshire on Days 25 and 26 of this amazing long-distance backpacking journey. The first day gives an unexpected surprise as I encounter an airshow while making my way along the trail, but the route soon becomes increasingly challenging. Overgrown paths, blocked routes, barbed wire, fences, difficult stiles and wooden bridges in poor condition all make progress far more difficult than expected. To make matters worse, finding a suitable place to wild camp proves to be a major challenge on both days. Join me as I continue this incredible 1,200 mile journey across Britain, experiencing the highs, lows and unexpected challenges of long-distance backpacking, wild camping and walking across the country.
