Do we know why Allah ﷻ named several chapters in the Quran after animals, such as Al-Baqarah (The Cow), An-Nahl (The Bee), An-Naml (The Ant), Al-Ankabut (The Spider), Al-Fil (The Elephant), and others? These names are not given to glorify the animals themselves, but rather as a sign for humans to learn from the stories, signs of Allah's greatness, and the wisdom contained within the chapters. Every creature created by Allah contains a lesson for those who think. Allah ﷻ says: "Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the alternation of night and day, and the ships that sail through the sea... and in every creature that moves on the earth, there are signs for a people who understand." (Surah Al-Baqarah: 164) Allah also says: "And We did not create the heavens and the earth and what is between them in vain." (QS.
