Let us start with the fact that the female singer is telling the male singer to take it easy with her, because she´s all new with all this love stuff - which is basically Sarah because she´s just a pre-teen and Jareth is an adult who´s in love with her! And the male singer is telling the female singer that he loves her and he will never hurt her, and he tries to make her believe in him - which is basically Jareth because he´s trying to prove his love for young Sarah all the time(though in a very strange and stupid way, but still)!
