The day before the MRQ Bundaberg fishing comp - Burnett Heads reef fishing
It was the day before the start of the MRQ Bundaberg Family Fishing Classic and the weather was kind enough for us to head out for the day. Sloppy conditions in the morning but it got better as the day went on. Finding fish wasn't a problem but getting them to bite certainly was and it was a good thing Matt came for the trip because he made sure we ended up with a decent looking esky with some cracking Coral Trout he caught. The wider we went the bigger the fish got but that also meant the shark encounters increased.
