It's not that I'd lost interest in Hankyu (in fact, I even joined the "Hankyu Railway Fan Club" 😅), but for various reasons, it took me a while to get around to filming again. This time, I decided to capture the front view "heading from Takarazuka to Osaka," as opposed to last time. And, surprisingly, the question of "which train type to shoot with" is crucial. For a long time, Hankyu had been using motorized cars at both ends of each train, but they stopped doing that with the new 1000 series. Therefore, if I want to record the motor sound, I have to choose a model prior to the 9000 series, and this time I tried to shoot on an 8000 series train bearing the "Memorial 8000" emblem. That said, the 8004F train I rode and photographed this time (or, to use Hankyu terms, "8004×8R") has already been refurbished and is now equipped with IGBT-VVVF inverter control and a PMSM motor.
