At home with Daisy Lowe and her modern gothic meets vintage inspired haven

Join us at home with self-proclaimed Lick enthusiast, model and pro-Madeleine-maker, Daisy Lowe. Chatting all things interiors, kitchens, and fashion, whilst giving us a baking masterclass of her grandma’s fail-safe Madeleine recipe, with a new Lick twist. Want to try this delicious recipe at home? Here’s how! You’ll need: 100g plain flour 100g caster sugar 130g unsalted butter 2 eggs Pinch of salt Pink chocolate (or whatever you’re favourite is) Sprinkles (very important) How to: 1. Add your flour and sugar into a large bowl and mix together. 2. Melt the butter 3. Lightly whisk your eggs 4. Stir in the melted butter and whisked eggs into the flour mix 5. Add a pinch of salt and mix gently until all combined 6. Lightly grease and flour your Madeleine try (or baking tray) and spoon the mixture on. 7. Place the tray in a pre-heated oven at 200degrees for 5-10 minutes until golden. 8. While they’re in the oven melt your chocolate… 9. Once ready remove them from the oven and let it cool down 10. One cool, dip one end of each Madeleine into the melted chocolate and then dip them in the sprinkles 11. Sit back and enjoy!
