An evening on the Bann.

Having spotted some unusual fish behaviour on the river Bann, at Gilford, Co. Down whilst put for a cycle, I decided to grab the rod and give it a throw. I had stumbled upon the annual Roach spawning migration and thought I'd try my hand at catching a few. I did achieve that goal but also discovered that there's a whole lot more to learn about river flyfishing. Something else for me to do in my retirement. Enjoy the video, Regards, Alistair.
