Aiwa CX-NA555 Volume Repair

Aiwa made many different bookshelf compact stereo systems. Many of those systems have a problem with the volume control knob. The problem is the rotary digital encoder. This is a tutorial on how to repair the faulty volume control. The model is Aiwa CX-NA555. This video includes detailed instructions on how to take the stereo apart to access the faulty control. There are instruction for a "poor mans" repair the digital encoder if you do not want to replace it.
