Painting Time Lapse | F. D'Adamo (Abstract Expressionism, Lyrical Abstraction)

It's been a long time since I last filmed the making of a painting, maybe at least two years. Recently, however, I have been working on two paintings of the same size and belonging to a series still in development, the Incanti. Somewhat in order to be able to review certain stages daily, partly to keep me company in the dark winter sessions, I ended up filming with a timelapse their entire making. One of them found a rather twisty path to reach its conclusion and for this very reason I kept and edited its footage. I would like to reiterate that this video is not a tutorial, nor does it show a painting process to be replicated. It doesn't even represent my "normal" way of painting, as this changes and adapts depending on many factors. The video doesn't explain nor demonstrate anything. It is just the visual diary of the making of one painting, among many.
