crochet belts: are they practical or should they stay on Pinterest? // I made three to test it out

Crochet Belts: Pattern: I made it up - here is what I did: I chained 149 (must be odd number) + 2 for turning  1st row: DC in third chain from hook and across (the +2 for turning does not count as a stitch) for 149 total stitches 2nd row: DC, ch 1, skip 1, DC across the row (should end with a DC) 3rd row: DC across  4th row/round: SC across the row, but then keep going with SCs down the side, across the bottom, and back up creating a round 5th round: slip stitch across the top and halfway down the side, pausing to chain 100 ish stitches and slip stitch back down them; continue slip stitching until you can chain for the other tie on the other side Slip stitch to beginning of round, ch 1, and tie off Yarn: Malabrigo - sock fingering in "Carnival" held double  Hook: 3.75 mm --- Pattern: La Rosa Belt Pattern by Urth by Morg on Etsy (paid) Yarn: Apple Fiber Studio - Apple Crisp Worsted in an unspecified hand dyed color (100% superwash merino) Hook: 2.75 mm --- Pattern: The Friendship Belt (free) at https://blog.clover-usa.com/2024/04/0...
