Polite: Be courteous to everyone, from teammates to staff. Helpful: Offer a helping hand to your teammates and staff. BONUS: Stop A LOT of pucks. Wrong Reasons to Stand Out: Late/Unorganized: Don’t be late or disorganized with paperwork. No Eye Contact: Make sure to maintain eye contact. Emotional Management: Manage your emotions – be passionate but not unhinged. Consistency on the ice requires consistency off the ice. Start where you are and keep moving forward.
