Doing these videos is where I get my practice time. I think it's funny that country was full of rednecks putting down the freak culture back then but the country artists were massive pill poppers and alcoholics. Then the freaks got into some country vibes and there was cross pollination. When I got into country there were very strict lines you dared not cross between rock n roll and country. I liked messing with that and watching both sides get mad at me for blurring the boundaries. All small time stuff long ago. Nobody cares now but it was a thing. I'm lucky to be alive!
