Mercedes-Benz GLB: quanto è CRESCIUTA davvero?

The GLB as we've known it until now has undergone a complete makeover: not only because it's now built on the MMA platform, which is a multi-energy platform—capable of adopting both hybrid and electric powertrains—but above all because it's grown significantly in size, so much so that it's moved up a notch in the segment pyramid. It's 4.73 meters long, a full 10 centimeters longer than the previous generation, and this means more interior space (also because the wheelbase has been extended by 6 centimeters), but also more space outside, for moving and parking. Inside, it's a riot of next-generation high-tech, namely a pillar-to-pillar screen that completely encompasses the dashboard and controls the MB-OS (Mercedes-Benz Operating System), which remains the market benchmark. Few physical buttons remain, but there's plenty of hard plastic, both in the lower areas and on the backs of the seats, especially in the more basic configurations. Behind the wheel, however, the new GLB makes up for its increased size, and in the mid-250cc version with rear-wheel drive and 272 hp, it remains quite agile. It drives well, in short, and is a good alternative to the usual Tesla, despite the higher price tag.
