Join this channel to get access to perks:    / @courtabovethecut   A walk along and through the famous Lock 24 on the Lichfield canal, this amazing bit of industrial heritage has been altered to take a new route through. Join us as we explore the site and what will be done to take this long into the 21st century and help connect the Lichfield canal from Huddlesford on the Coventry up to the rest of the Birmingham Canal Network (BCN). We look at the work on the walls for the tow path and we take a further look at the new planning permission granted for the lift bridges, locks and restoration of another 650M of canal to Gallows Wharf and the St Johns and London Road Section. We then jump from Gallows Wharf across to Fosseway Heath and explore the restoration as the new line joins the old from lock 18 and the abandoned railway and signal box with level crossing.
