【金管五重奏】ジュピター（”Jupiter” for Brass Quintet） 作曲：G.ホルスト（Gustav Holst） 編曲：渡部 哲哉（Arr.by WATANABE, Tetsuya） ----- ＜楽曲解説＞（Music Commentary） 　この作品は、イギリスの作曲家グスタフ・ホルストの組曲「惑星」より「木星」の中間部の旋律を用いた小品です。この旋律はイギリスの愛国歌やイングランド国教会の賛歌として親しまれ、世界各国で歌詞が付けられ、多くのアーティストによってカバーされている名曲です。 　本編曲は金管五重奏のために書かれていますが、金管楽器特有の華やかで力強い響きを強調するのではなく、木管楽器や弦楽器に特徴的な繊細で柔らかく、温かみのある音色を目指したオーケストレーションとなっています。 This short piece is arranged from the middle section melody of "Jupiter" from Gustav Holst's suite The Planets. This melody has become a British patriotic song and an anthem for the Church of England, and is celebrated worldwide with lyrics in many languages and numerous artist interpretations. This arrangement is written for brass quintet.
