Schrödinger's viaduct: the 24 Halls of Friedberg

It's a railway viaduct, built in 1850 against the better judgement of the railway company, at the insistence of a local aristocrat. The "24 Halls" of Friedberg still stand to this day, and nobody knows what to do with them. It probably doesn't help that some bureaucratic red tape means that it's legally supposed to be demolished... but can't legally be demolished.
