'Rust' Special Prosecutor Resigns Over Public Hearing in Alec Baldwin Trial

During the cross-examination of prosecutor Kari Morrissey, defense attorney Alex Spiro revealed that special prosecutor Erlinda Johnson resigned from the Alec Baldwin case on Friday. Prosecutor Morrissey testified that prosecutor Johnson resigned because she did not agree with today's hearing about dismissing Baldwin's case being public. The defense also talked about another prosecutor who left the case. Hutchins died on Baldwin’s “Rust” movie set. Armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter for Hutchins’ death.
