My name is Marcin Matyja, and I really enjoy mathematics. In my courses, I help my students master the material that will enable them not only to pass their Matura exams but also to get into their dream university. I explain concepts at both the basic and advanced levels. I discuss everything in a clear, simple, and easy-to-understand way, even if you don't like math or are a humanities major. I use color-coded tables in my methods; they help you associate and absorb knowledge faster. Where does my passion for mathematics come from? As a child, I spent a lot of time with my grandfather, who taught me chess and solved problems with me. My grandfather was a fantastic interpreter, so I quickly mastered the material, which went far beyond the core curriculum. In high school, I chose a mathematics and computer science class and passed my math final exam with a straight A, and I passed my oral exam with a straight B. Because it was a combined final exam, I also got accepted to the Faculty of Mathematics at the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice. In my third year, I chose a specialization in computer science methods and wrote my master's thesis on game theory, specifically: "0-sum matrix games." After graduating, I decided it would be fun to make videos explaining difficult math concepts. That's where the idea for "Math with Passion" came from.
