【徳島】うだつの町並みと路地裏散歩。江戸の風情に癒やされ、絶品徳島ラーメンで締める旅　(Udatsu Street)

徳島県美馬市脇町にある、うだつの町並みを観てきました。「うだつが上がらない」の語源になっているうだつがたくさんある街道で、江戸時代からのうだつが付いた家が並ぶ街道が保存されています。青空の下、真っ白な漆喰の壁が眩しくて、とても気持ちいい散歩ができる町です。 I visited the Udatsu townscape in Wakimachi, Mima City, Tokushima Prefecture. This street is lined with many udatsu, which are the origin of the Japanese idiom "udatsu ga agaranai" (meaning "unable to get ahead in life"). The street has been preserved with houses that have had udatsu since the Edo period. Under the blue sky, the pure white plaster walls were dazzling, making it a very pleasant town to stroll through.
