Part 1: 4A-GE Big Brain & COPs upgrade (ECU & Coil on plug conversion)

The engine in the Corolla FX16 is getting some major upgrades. I received a package from Barry at MRP for the 4AGE in the AE82. I remove the existing distributor, spark plug wires, igniter and coil. I install the new ECU and wire it into my existing wiring harness. I also wire in the coil on plug harness. The installation didn't go as smoothly as it could have, but they weren't too big of issues to deal with. The engine wouldn't start after installing the ECU and I had to diagnose why. Testing fuel, spark and ignition timing led me to the solution. The Link ECU was one rotation off and it was a simple tuning fix.
