Landsborough Valley

Back in the early 1980's, I read a book called 'The Chopper Boys' by Rex Forester. This was about the high risk days of dead and live Deer recovery in the most remote parts of the New Zealand bush. Two places that were mentioned the most in the book was Barn Bay and Landsborough Valley - both located in the remote parts of the south-west of the South Island of New Zealand. A chance phone call with Rod Corbett and I was off to see both of these places within a few weeks of each other.
