Upcycling A Thrifted Lamp | DIY Cordless Battery-Operated Lamp | Make Your Own Home Decor

In this video, I show how I created a DIY cordless lamp using thrifted finds and some creative problem-solving! I bought a lamp and a separate lamp shade from two different thrift stores and wanted to combine them into a unique piece. To make it work, I had to attach a harp which meant rebuilding the lamp. At first this sounded like a complicated project, but really is such an easy thing you can do in an afternoon. However, I don't have an outlet where I want to place the lamp, so I searched for rechargeable light bulbs to make it cordless. I ordered two different rechargeable bulbs—one from Temu and the other from Amazon—and tested them both to see which works best for this situation.
