Their performance was still not mature at that time but it paved the way to be Asian Championship a year later. You can see some of them play really good and the style of playing totally a copy from Japan team. This match was the 2nd last day of the tournament. Japan confirmed can go to Olympic day earlier after won Korea. Mentally, Japanese was more relaxed as this match opponent was Thailand. With the less concentrated of Nippon and more hard work by Thai girls, this game turnout quite interesting and end in 5 sets.
