Filming Date: November 23-24, 2025 This time, we headed to Furong Town (芥蓉镇 fú róng zhén) in the Xiangxi Tuzhi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, located further inland than Fenghuang Ancient Town. Furong Town had even fewer tourists than Fenghuang Ancient Town, and the relaxed atmosphere made it a truly "hidden" rural area. The atmosphere, especially when lit up at night, was incredible, and the otherworldly feeling, reminiscent of Spirited Away, was overwhelming... It was a place I'm glad I visited, especially in China. I doubt there are many other tourist destinations in China that are as beautiful without overtourism.
