We took on our very first Dragon Canoe Race, a traditional event held in the Notogawa district of Higashiomi City, Shiga Prefecture! After a hiatus due to COVID-19, the festival was back for the first time in 3 years, and the atmosphere was absolutely electric. As members of the Mizunowa Paddling Club, this was our first time participating. We had a blast soaking in the unique, high-energy vibes that are so different from our usual kayaking sessions.
