In a unique football experiment, "Einstein" shows, based on scientifically proven data, what male footballers would really have to achieve if they had the same conditions in their sport as female footballers. Football is far more demanding for women, and their performance is therefore all the more impressive. The Experiment Scientists have calculated this for the first time: It means larger dimensions in the field, goal, and ball, longer distances and playing times – and this is radically changing the men's game! The U19/U17 soccer players from FC Thun and FC Winterthur have taken on this unique challenge in an experiment. What do the soccer players say? What drives our young female players and goalies? What are their dreams? A top Swiss soccer player is accompanied to the futuristic soccer lab at TSG Hoffenheim, where her reflexes are tested in game tactics, and evolutionary biologists from the University of Zurich measure young male and female goalkeepers in a 3D body scanner. What is wishful thinking and what is reality in women's soccer today? The experiment and the scientific in-depth studies will shed light on the differences between the sexes, initiate a long-overdue shift in perspective on women's soccer, and sharpen a diversified view of this popular sport for everyone.
