One had over 30 operations on his legs and was able to walk, another had a 70% recovery of his immobile hand, and the third had his daily body functions restored. The skills of doctors, applied in modern surgical techniques, including the use of VAC systems for faster wound healing, provided the most desirable result for everyone. And it was consolidated by rehabilitation specialists and the willpower of the guys themselves. The wounded soldiers are gradually returning to independent life. This greatly pleased the representative of the Union of Ukrainian Women of America, Valentyna Tabaka. Their organization has been helping the Volyn Regional Hospital for several years. And now, being in her small homeland, Ms. Valentyna saw from the inside the effective work of the surgeons and the equipment provided. The next day, she was joined by the Ambassador of the Union of Ukrainian Women of America, Oksana Bilozir, who helps deliver and control the distribution of their aid in Ukraine, and the Head of the Union of Ukrainian Women in Ukraine, deputy of the Volyn Regional Council, Oristlava Sydorchuk. The delegation got acquainted with the full working cycle of the hospital. Currently, its organizational structure meets world standards.
