Sewing a bread bag is, in my opinion, another step towards zero waste and more responsible consumption. Whether it's a bread bag, a braid bag, a cake bag, or even a chocolate croissant bag, like all bulk bags, they are washable and reusable. This bread bag tutorial has a built-in lining to prevent threads from catching on the crust or bread crumbs. I wanted to create a stylish flap to thread the drawstrings through and create a drawstring closure. An even easier version would be to omit these flaps, which would also create a very attractive bag style. It's practical to be able to choose the right size for the bread you usually eat, whether homemade or bought from a bakery. Use fabric scraps you have at home, scraps, or recycled materials!
