VANILLA EXTRACT WITH 2 INGREDIENTS with Madagascar vanilla pods VANILLA EXTRACT INGREDIENTS 5 VANILLA BERRIES 200 CC DRY VODKA or 100 of alcohol and 100 of water YOU WILL NEED 2 DROPPER CONTAINERS OF 100cc EACH To make the vanilla extract you must first dose the alcoholic part which must be between 35 and 50 degrees. The extract must also be free from other aromas besides vanilla so I do not recommend the use of rum which is very aromatic. So you can use cooking alcohol diluted in half with water or use the dry wodka directly but without diluting it. There's no need to use an expensive branded wodka because what matters is that it doesn't have a strong flavor. Then in a resealable jar put 2 doses of 100 cc of wodka or a dose of alcohol and one of water. Add the vanilla pods cut lengthwise after having a little crushed them and then cut them in half. mix the vanilla infusion and close it, let the vanilla extract rest for 2 weeks. Then divide it into the two containers and also divide the berries., Close and wait another 2 weeks and your extract will be ready and very aromatic and with this quantity you are good for years.
