Making Electricity From Firewood – Gasifier in Action

In this video I assemble a gasifier. This is a device that produces wood gas from firewood, which then powers a regular generator. I also show how to modify the generator so it works more efficiently and starts easily on wood gas. I demonstrate how much firewood I load into the gasifier, apply small electrical loads to the generator, show the stability of its operation, how long it runs on a single load, and the approximate amount of wood consumed.
